Eligibility:
Who have completed an undergraduate degree at UTAS or another Australian or international university and who plan to undertake an Honours project commencing in either semester one or two in 2012 in the field of marine and Antarctic studies under the supervision of a staff member of IMAS.

Scholarship Description: These scholarships are funded by the University’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) and by Antarctic Tasmania, Science and Research (ATSR) unit of the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts. IMAS was created to bring together the many strands of marine and Antarctic research currently being pursued in and around Hobart, to encourage the development of strengthened research links and exploit new research opportunities.
